2M Hints and tips :
Unlike Top band receivers 2m sets give an accurate indication of where the fox is by sighting down the beam (using the max sig. as the indicator).
The picture below indicates how successful this technique can be in the hands of an expert.
2M events are much gentler affairs than Top Band only requiring the thinnest of trousers so that the legs may be used as heat sinks.
